Michael C. Stellitano LAS VEGAS, NV - Michael C. Stellitano, 79, passed away in June 2013 in Las Vegas, NV, after a protracted illness. He was born and raised in Hopewell, NJ, where he attended Hopewell Central High School (1952).  After a short career in the dairy industry, he decided to use his vocal and artistic talents as an entertainer.  He was popular in clubs and venues all through the central and southern areas of New Jersey, but decided to find his future in Las Vegas and moved there over 30 years ago.

 

He left New Jersey and simply went to Las Vegas and sought employment there. His success for some years was as an MC in clubs in Las Vegas, combining his talents as a commanding presence and a quick wit to create entertaining shows in local clubs. However, there was an unattended desire to help people.

 

He found he had the ability to help people, leading them to better health and happiness by directing them to find

inner strength and energy to create a healing environment in them. He was able, through his study of the healing arts, both ancient and modern, to create a model that he used successfully.

 

He stopped all other activities and became a full time licensed healer until the time of his passing. While there have been many sceptics over the years, Michael was never deterred from his mission and he had accumulated a vast group of followers and success stories.

His singular goal was to teach people to help themselves by learning to direct their internal energies to the healing process.

 

He authored a book on healing (Your Healing Hands) and has produced DVDs on how to achieve health and happiness through the healing process. He had a list of patients from around the world and conducted seminars and appearances in places like Alaska, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Canada and New Jersey in person and on television and radio. He conducted "distant healings" over the phone in places like Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Nevada. Ohio, Australia and Holland, to name a few.  His singular goal was to bring health, happiness and joy to all in whom he came in contact. He gave generously of himself and his talents throughout his life.

 

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary Stellitano, and his brother, Dominick. He is survived by his brother, Rocco; his sister, Marie and her husband, Joseph Scandariato Sr.; his sister-in-law, Virginia Stellitano; his sister, Theresa Spoto; and brother, Anthony, and his wife, Olivia; many devoted nephews and nieces; and a group of friends and supporters in Las Vegas who shared his beliefs in healing and the beauty and simplicity and joy of a fulfilling life.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, East Prospect St. and Princeton Avenue, Hopewell, NJ. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71 East Prospect St., Hopewell, NJ 08525. –
